What is evaluated?

The method selected is the Greater London Provincial Council scheme that is based on evaluating 'posts' and not 'people'.

The evaluation will be of the job description so it is vital that your job description accurately reflects your duties and responsibilities. A job description CANNOT be evaluated if it has not be signed off and agreed by both the employee and their line manager.

If there is more than one person performing the same job then a single job description for that post will be evaluated and the same outcome will apply to all the post holders. This is the basic principle of equality that the scheme is designed to address.
